The Fall Writing Salon theme: A Taste of Memory. Share Your Food Story

Fall Writing Salon

A Taste of Memory: Share Your Food Story!

This FREE Writing Salon is open to all our students in Guided Autobiography Levels 1, 2, and 3, their friends, and family. We will meet on zoom.

You can join us even if you do not have time to write a narrative. We would love to see you again on Zoom.

In the Writing Salon, we will hear six of your stories. Due to time constraints, just six students will read their stories to all of us. We will randomly select six stories that are submitted.

This Writing Salon theme is Food Memories.

๐ŸŒŸ Write a Story Using All Your Senses ๐ŸŒŸ
We invite you to craft an 800โ€“1,000 word narrative about a food, meal, or dining experience that stirs deep memories for you.

The Self-Published A Spoonful of Sage, Stories for the Soul

Writing Salon #3

Our Spring 2023 writing salon was on the theme of aging and the wisdom that comes with it. The writing salon was a huge success, thanks to all our GAB participants who wrote their stories about aging and read them at the April 27th Writing Salon.

We are deeply grateful to the Guided Autobiography participants who have shared their stories for this anthology.

A Spoonful of Sage, Stories for the Soul, is now available on Amazon.

Thank you:

Crystal Buchan, Talulah Cartwright, Betsy Hague, Jerry McAnulty, Megan Perry, Mary Jane Slavin, Julia Schreiber, Kim Stansfield, Michael Williams, Lily Bengfort, Leigh Morrow.

You can purchase the ebook or the paperback book on Amazon Canada or on Amazon USA.

Participants explored the stories that come with aging.

Everyone was invited to submit an 800-1,000 word narrative. Here are some questions that were used as writing prompts.

Has age changed your perception of time and its passage? How is time different for you now compared to a decade ago? What do you fill your day with now vs. a decade ago? How has that changed your story? Is there a story you can write that explains a moment in your life when you realized the value of the wisdom you have gained through aging and how it has influenced your life? See more questions here.

A Spoonful of Wisdom, Bite Sized Stories for the Soul, to be published just in time for holiday giving. Register Now as space is limited.

What did you give or what did you receive, that is forever etched in your mind?

Everyone was invited to submit an 800-1,000 word narrative.
